 57EB08-019 | 1957/58 FUEL TANK UNIT WIRING LOOM This is a critical part of the fuel system that should be replaced if you want all your new sending units and pump to work properly. The old wires are almost always brittle and broken. Using the old wires is like inviting disaster. If you have a 57 you should replace this just so you do not have the irreplaceable sending unit burn out due to a possible short. I have seen this happen many times! Do not let it happen to you! Our new wiring looms are made with an internal fuse like the late cars were built from the factory. They must have discovered the possibility of damage to the sending unit from shorts. Then implemented this fix late in production. This new harness plugs in 5 minutes and it will make your fuel tank servicing job a breeze, reliable, and lets not forget safe! | |
